- You Can Now Watch “The Big Lebowski” With Your Facebook Friends – Fascinating article from Mashable about a new social viewing opportunity on Facebook. However, the article is quite unclear about whether the opportunity is to co-view via simultaneous streams (rather like what happened in Second Life) or if it merely aggregates and time-stamps comments, rather like the social notes functionality for Amazon’s Kindle platform. Does anybody have insight on this? Joost, many years ago, was developing a simultaneous streaming technology but I don’t see it ready for prime time anywhere outside of Netflix viewing parties on Xbox.
